After the course, you have all the tools and knowledge you need to have a successful class with adults. These successes will lead you to truly enjoying the profession. So many people get into EFL as a way to travel the world, and there is nothing wrong with that. Investing in the CELTA is well worth it, but it prepares you so well for being a teacher that teaching English may just become your career.

I wanted a good qualification to give me better options for employment and decided on the CELTA. I took it outside my home country so as to officially start my life as a traveller. Four years down the road I am still teaching, but for a different purpose. Instead of teaching to travel, I now travel to teach, and it all started with the CELTA. I can only hope that you will have such a positive experience as I did. Best of luck!
