Academic Manager in Shenyang
As an Academic Manager you will lead a team of teachers at a newly built franchise in Shenyang, China. The ideal candidate is someone with at least 2-3 years EFL teaching experience, a passion for teaching, the ability to lead, and keen to advance their EFL teaching career.
The school is located in the heart of Shenyang city. It is an exciting new school positioned on the 3rd floor of a shopping center. The local staff are very excited to meet foreign teachers and the school provides a family-friendly atmosphere to work in.
The students are 3-16 years old, with most under 12 years old.
Job Description
- Lead, manage, and support a team of foreign teachers.
- Manage the academic needs of the school.
- Support the school in the recruitment of new teachers.
- Support the school in the opening of new franchises.
- Train new teachers and provide ongoing training to existing teachers.
- Support with teacher scheduling.
- Responsible for the quality of teaching by undertaking observations and providing follow-up training to underperforming teachers.

Meet the Headmaster – Olivia Wang
The school is headed up by Olivia Wang (王佳 or Wang Jia in Chinese), a driven woman who has built an impressive career around English and education.
Olivia has spent the last 14 years making a name for herself in the EFL industry, both as a teacher and a business owner. Holding a Master’s degree in English and International Trade, her work has been honoured by being asked to be a special guest professor at Liaoning University and once received a personal invite from the South Korean government.
She has years of classroom experience, and the two very successful branches of Lingo Education School that she owns in and around Shenyang are a testament to her abilities in business development.
Olivia has now set her sights on creating a thriving school for young learners, and we have no doubt in her ability to succeed.
