The part-time CELTA course has the same components and the same contact hours as the full-time CELTA, only it spreads over 12 weeks and is suitable for candidates who are not able to dedicate 4 weeks to full time study or prefer a less intensive option.

Suitable candidates will be offered jobs by Saxoncourt Teacher Recruitment at the end of the course.

Tuesdays & Thursdays or Monday & Wednesday 6.30pm – 9.30pm
Alternate Saturdays 9am – 5pm

Entry requirements
Entrance test and interview, proficiency in both written and spoken English. No previous teaching experience is required. Minimum age 20 (18 exceptionally).  In accordance with Cambridge ESOL criteria, candidates should be qualified to a level equivalent to entry into Higher Education, though allowances may be made at the discretion of the school. 

Course length: 12 weeks

Start dates 2010: 4 January, 12 April, 5 July, 27 September

NB You will be required to make arrangements to come in and observe the regular teachers' classes (9am - 11:50am) twice over the duration of the course.

Course fees 2010: £995 plus £55 registration fee (includes materials).  A non-refundable deposit of £200 is required to secure a guaranteed place on the course.
