Shane English Centre Vietnam (SECV) is one of the very first 100% foreign-owned language schools to open in the country, and we are proud to be at the forefront of the rise in the quality of English tuition in what is now a booming EFL market. The days of Vietnam being a destination for unqualified, short-term ‘backpacker’ teachers are coming to an end, and the country is now quite rightly becoming a very attractive destination for committed and enthusiastic EFL professionals.
Situated in Ho Chi Minh City, the school caters for nearly 400 students and has 6 classrooms. We have a broad mix of students, ranging from 2.5-year olds to adults. The majority of students are children.
20 – 24 teaching hours per week.
US$15 – US$18 per hour.
Assistance with processing the work visa on arrival.
Assistance with finding accommodation.
Daily travel expenses reimbursed.
It is required that teachers:
Have a native level of English
Have a full British university degree
Have a CELTA or Trinity TESOL qualification
Can provide a Criminal Record Check
Get a physical exam by a doctor indicating a clean bill of health
