Description: Putignano is an attractive town in the south of Italy and the climate is good although it can be quite cold in the winter.  It is ½ hour away from the nearest city of Bari.  There are plenty of recreational facilities in Putignano, sport centres, pubs and clubs, a cinema, bowling alley and shops. 

Because the town is quite small (about 30,000 inhabitants) transport is not needed for moving around but there is a train station if one wants to go further afield.

It is a cosy school and the friendly relationship with the school director and the teacher as well as the students is very important.  The atmosphere is not at all formal and the adult students love the school because they feel very relaxed and are able to learn English in a pleasant context.

 A CELTA/TESOL qualification is preferred.

 Travel/airfare contributions: approx. € 300 at start and finish of contract 

 School might be able to help finding accommodation/flat at preferred price 

 Saturdays and Sundays as days off 

 From 1st of October 2008  to End of May 2009, renewable
